Dr. Shayya was friendly and professional. Tests and exam were thorough. He listened to what I said about how my injury happened and the symptoms I continue to have. I am impressed and appreciate his treatment plan and his concern for my wellness.
Saw Jessica his NP, she did a thorough exam. Recommended further testing I needed. Saw Dr Shayya at the end of the visit. Office staff were accommodating with setting up numerous appointments for additional testing I needed. My only complaint, the reason for 3 stars, was the type of music and level of music. When a person has a bad headache they need soothing soft music. Not loud semi rock music. Both Dr Shayya and Vivian met with me for the first time and reviewed my issues and requested the prior imaging I have had done. They both seemed experienced and willing to help.
The PA, Vivian, is amazing. She communicates very well and explains her answers in a direct manner that reflects her knowledge base. Although my visit with Dr Shayya was brief he put me at ease with his relaxed manner. Bottom line: I was very impressed with his entire practice.
In April 2023 I had a major stroke while back visiting the east coast and ended up hospitalized for 8 days there. After I returned home I called Dr. Shyaah's office and they saw me within a couple of weeks and immediately scheduled a half dozen follow-up tests. It was the most comprehensive care I received since leaving the hospital. They had me do a follow up brain MRI this past Oct to make sure things still looked good. The PA, Hania Alexander took a lot of time with us. She was patient, attentive and answered all of our questions. She then consulted with Dr. Shayya who came into the room and said after going over everything with the PA, I am going to order these tests to rule out Parkinson’s. We felt well cared for.
Dr. Luay Shayya and her medical staff provide exceptional and excellent care and are very professional and sensitive to my medical and neurological needs. I feel very comfortable and well taken care of and informed during my medical visits.
Dr. Shayya was compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and takes the time to listen. He is working with me to get me back to my normal self after my injury.
