I enjoyed my mid day sail on the Adirondack II. The crew were excellent. We were informed of the many important landmarks around Newport as we sailed. I recommend doing early during your trip and perhaps adding an evening sail if you have time. Plan to spend time in the wharf. It’s a great atmosphere. Bring cash for refreshment and please do tip the crew with cash. They will show you they deserve it. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Newport Classic Cruises for any special event! We originally were supposed to get married on the sailboat Sloop Eleanor, however the weather was not in our favor leaving this bride anxious the morning of. The team at Newport Classic Cruises were able to coordinate a whole new plan and get us out on a different boat to still be able to have our wedding ceremony on board. Took a sunset sail on the Eleanor sail boat with my wife and son. What a wonderful time! Shanon and Ray were knowledgeable and professional providing a fantastic adventure! Trip around the bay was 90 mins. The boat holds about 20 people. Lots of laughs and local knowledge! You can't go wrong booking your next sailing adventure on the "Eleanor"!
Our sunset sail on Adirondack II was amazing! Lee, Pat, and Elise were great ! Very informing and entertaining! It was the perfect evening sail. Beautiful views, beautiful sunset. I highly recommend and hope to sail again, if we get back to Newport!
Wonderful experience aboard the Eleanor! I really appreciated this particular type of excursion because it was not overly crowded. Anywhere you sat was perfect. Our captain and co-captain were friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. They were extremely kind and accommodating when we prepaid for cocktails but neither myself or my friend enjoyed the ginger beer, and we were told we could have wine instead.
