Can't say enough about the Wonderful time we had aboard the Rum Runner ll today. The Captain Jay and his crew Sara were very Pleasant & Informative. Sara made sure that our Free flowing Mimosa glasses were never empty. A special treat were the Croissants. But the Highlight of the trip was when I stood up to take a photo and my favorite water bottle plunged into the ocean. We took an evening cruise on the Rum Runner II on Saturday 5/18. It was great! The staff was so friendly and really caterer to everyone's needs. Offered up endless rum runners and beers! And even took the time to ask individual groups if they wanted pictures! Such a great time with a great crew!
Our captain Mark and second mate Nora we're great! We highly recommend this tour. There service set the standard for hospitality.
Captain Wes was delightful! He provided the most wonderful of interactions with the young teen we had in our party. This was a 'bucket list' cruise for me! What a wonderful way to experience the Narragansett Bay and Newport Harbor. I highly recommend this cruise on the Madeleine. The young ladies also working were helpful and served us beverages.
My husband and I went on an afternoon sail on the Madeline with Captain Wes and crew Trudy and Meg. They were fantastic! They were very knowledgeable and helpful answering all our questions. They even let the kids steer the boat! This was so far the best harbor ride we've had in Newport and can't wait to do it again!
Really enjoyed the crew and trip on the Madeleine .. just two mid 40s and our youngest 8 yr old..
Could not have had a better experience on the Rum Runner Sunset Cruise. The staff were so pleasant and did not leave our glasses or beer cans empty on the 1-hour cruise. The views were incredible and took us around Newport seeing all the mansions and sites. Pictured is the boat and a few from it on the water.
We had an awesome time on then mimosas and lighthouses tour! The captain was friendly and the two girls helping were awesome! We loved hearing about the history of the area. The bait went slowly for most of the tour, but showed off its speed towards the end. Plus, the minosas were practically unlimited, with more refills offered than we were able to take advantage of! There was also water, tea, plain orange juice, and croissants available. We would definitely try one of this company's other cruises if we had more time!
It's a nice way to see things around Newport. My gripe is they over booked the cruise and I happened to be on a cruise where some people took up two seats (purely because of size). I get it but don't book so many people then. I ended up having to sit with one butt check off the end...it was uncomfortable. Otherwise, if they figure that out, I would do it again because you see a lot.
