We have gone to this practice for years and it was hard when Dr. Cohen left, he was fantastic in helping a rescue English Bulldog we took in who had ear infections for a long time and was one step from having to have surgery . He worked with Otto for MONTHS kindly and his assistant Sam was so good to Otto. The dog actually enjoyed going there! Then it was Dr Brown, the owner we saw, and he was great as well. Newport Vet has been outstanding with helping me get my severely anxiety riddled dog's nails treated! Everyone was so sweet & knowledgeable. Even though my dog did NOT want to go into the building, when I would pick him up you could tell he had been well treated and handled with care. 10+ stars

This is an incredible vet! They have taken care of my animals for the last three years and I cannot say enough how much of a blessing they have been! They are always realistic with their treatment (even when that isn't fun) and they have helped us through many difficult illnesses!

I moved from California 6 months ago and had dealt with some of the worst animal care before I came to Newport Vet. The customer service is friendly and speedy and I really love the doctor! They always do such a great job with my pup and it means so much that they care.
The doctors and office staff are so understanding and kind in helping me maneuver my days with a geriatric dog. I do wish they were open on Wednesday but understand the need for time off with their being open on Saturday morning.

I have used a couple of different Veterinarians in the area. This place is my favorite. The Vets are very experienced and knowledgeable. They are caring and really love animals. I also like the convenient location. Highly recommend!
I have been going to Newport Veterinary Hospital for over 10 years with my dogs. The front office staff is very friendly, and the technicians show great care with my dogs. I have been pleased with the service of all the Doctors here, but my favorite has to be Dr. Cohen. Dr. Cohen is wonderful with my dogs. Gentle and caring. Over the years he has always taken the time to explain to me results of his evaluations. Follow up calls from the office have always been made when my dogs were ill. Great service and good vet checked on my 2 dogs. I've been using their service for years. Only once cost effective some where else and that was a nightmare I'll never forget. Rip.
Dr. Jones and Dr. Cohen have been very helpful and kind with dogs I had in the past. (Rescues). They have been both are soft-spoken and gentle to my family dogs... and patient with me. Dr. Cohen made "disability" accommodations for an elderly dog that I inherited last year who was in bad health. While my dog's health did a 180 improvement, his old age took over.
