Very professional, very kind and knowledgeable. Takes special care to explain things, make you and your pet feel comfortable in every day happenings and emergencies. It all starts at the reception desk with the smiles and goes all the way through. Thank you from The Cole's and their fur babies.
My wife and I moved here with our two doxies from Ohio. We got a few recommendations for local vets and was going to take the pups to one and give them a try when the unthinkable happened. One of our fur babies got attacked at our apartment complex's dog park. We were frantic and the following morning took our little girl to the Newport Vet. My cat had surgery there had some complications but they handled it and took great care of my cat Wilbur and were very cost effective -thank you!
Very bad experience here. They knew by what I described it was serious yet wouldn't give me an appointment for a while. When I finally got her in, my beloved dog was given a month to live by one of the vets who was cold as ice and dead WRONG. Test was messed up and had to be retaken while my dog was getting sicker and her life was at stake. I was fortunately able to get her to an excellent vet (out of state) who really cared, got her in right away and saved her life. My pup is still with me and thriving over a year later! ... read more
Not reliable. Me and my family have had many problems with this vet. We do not recommend them. Last time I went there with my cat, she had a problem with urinating, this vet took her for an hour and then told us she had a kidney infection. Didn't even get a urine sample! We took her to a different vet, they took her for hours and it turns out she has diabetes. How can this place call themselves a vet and not even do their job correctly. We do not recommend.
This review is solely on the customer service I received and has no bearing on the knowledge and abilities of the doctor. We recently moved to the area in between a Rock Hill and Lake Wylie, and we needed to find a vet that is convenient to our new home since our dog has cancer. Today (8/27/19), I had to have my 16 yo doxie euthanized. She had heart failure and was declining rapidly. I made the appointment yesterday (8/26/19). I took care of the costs up front so as not to worry. Well, imagine my shock when I was told that if I wanted to be present during the procedure, I would have to come back an hour and a half later AND pay an extra $30!!
