I highly recommend Dr London, who repaired my detached and torn retina. His thorough examination and timely surgery quite probably saved the sight in my eye. Even though wait times at follow up appointments can take a couple of hours, it’s worth the wait to be treated by an expert specialist.
The staff demonstrated courtesy and professionalism. But even my experience before seeing Dr. London was process- versus care-driven. The waiting space were full to near capacity, and with an objectively extra-senior population this seemed ill-advised relative to contagious cooties (summer colds, even flu and the ever-present threat of Covid). Unlike many other physicians, there is not even one milligram of arrogance with Dr. London. He is down to earth. He patiently answers your questions and clears any doubts. A lot of physicians believe that peasants (I meant patients!), who seek healthcare from them do not deserve to be informed about their options. Twice (both eyes - years apart) he has helped my husband with detached retinas. Dr London was recommended as the best in the city and we agree. We are grateful for his expertise and going above and beyond to see my husband over the weekend to accommodate the emergency.Thank you Dr. London!
