About Us In 1995, Sheri Fastenrath, DVM identified the need for an emergent care facility for owners and their pets in the Huntsville area. Unfortunately, there were not many overnight emergency options for medical treatment in the surrounding area. RecommendedWe could not be more pleased with the care our guy received from NAVES today! Dr CJ and all of the staff were professional and caring. They listened to our concerns regarding dehydration and performed a thorough examination. He got fluids and was feeling better than he had in weeks by the time we left. All this for an extremely fair fee. If you need care on holidays or weekends we urge you to go to NAVES! The drive was more than worth it. Thank you again for helping our guy feel better!
NAVES saved my baby Cosmo! He was a tiny 8 lbs with a lot of toys and hair in his stomach. Dr CJ diagnosed and got him into surgery immediately and saved his life! The technicians were very caring and took great care of him during the 6 days he had to stay!
I had a very good experience. My dog was having seizures. The staff tested him and diagnosed him with pancreatitis. He stayed for two nights to be treated and I changed his diet to a prescription food. He has been on the food and doing well. I’m so thankful the veterinarian was able to diagnose and treat him. Thank you for helping my little buddy, Max!
I had a great experience with my 5 year old cat. Absolutely all the staff during our emergency visit were kind and helpful. The tech was so great with my sweet boy and the doc was EXTREMELY patient ( he is a bit of a jerk at the vet always has been). The cost was comparable to his regular vet (Catisfaction Cat Clinic) and I found it considerate that they made me aware of options/prices and their professional opinion-then allowing me to choose the best route... We took our 16 year old Yorkie in after a horrific accident. The vet and vet tech were so caring and compassionate. Although they weren’t able to save our baby, they showed care all the way to the end. I felt that the prices seemed standard for after hours emergency care. The only suggestion I have is to get reception to be a little more personable.
Spent two nights in a row here with my dog Red. The staff was caring and compassionate. The vet was very knowledgeable. The only downfall is that the prices are ridiculous for an average person. I understand that prices have gone up everywhere, but making decisions on how to treat or not treat your baby is absolutely heart wrenching. But definitely glad that someone is available to help at night and on weekends. Thank you for all you do!
