Get directionsWrong advice was given and blood tests weren’t valid. I had to chance up results for weeks and no one has contacted me despite an email complaint. Poor communication between staff and with clients.
The worst run reception where kids who need training in empathy and customer service think they’re running the show. As a customer who has spent over $15,000 plus there I will NEVER return after the attitude and unprofessional behaviour I encountered on NYE on Tuesday night. If they’re the face of yr business heaven help you ! Erich Hattenfels Stephen Newport Castlecrag
This is difficult for me as it has tainted the process of trying to mourn the loss of my cat. I will start by saying the quality of care provided is excellent, the hospital is state of the art with facilities you wont find anywhere else. The cost though is eye watering. After losing my cat I came in to finalise the bill. I found a charge for a resuscitation which I had specifically said not to do. I had to call back to find out why this done. The staff followed up with the vet, they called me back the next day to advise that... read more
We left our elderly dog in this vet's boarding facility for 5 nights. On the first day we called to get an update because the dog had never been left before and the receptionist said they were too busy and they would called back. They never did. On the last day of our holiday we received a phone call from the vet advising that the dog was ill and they suggested a series of tests amounting to an obscene amount of money only to find out that she had a common UTI. Our dog has never had a UTI before. We just wonder weather ... read more
Came here last night with my cat. Made an appointment, however, had to wait an HOUR before being seen. After about 10mins past my appointment time, the reception staff told me that the vet who was going to see me had to deal with another pet emergency, fair enough. She told me that it would be another "few minutes", I'm use to waiting around 20mins past my appointments to be seen, I don't usually mind as I understand that each pet case is different, some may take longer than others, so I was happy to wait. However, an ho... read more
One of my bunnies died there and my other bunny was put at risk at the exotics vet's whim. Don't expect any decent communication from them, including information about vaccinations. They are very expensive for a practice who have been consistently poor over the last 8yrs. I'm sorry I didn't make the choice to stay away sooner.
I had my first puppy this time last year. We naturally chose North Shore Vet because it was the most conveniently located for us. We’ve visited a few times including desexing, eye infections and vaccinations but no experience compares to when we took our sick puppy to the vet last September. He was lethargic and looked very off. The vet who was a young looking man took my puppy in to check on him and required him to stay in hospital for testing. They found the cause of his illness and did all the necessary tests, with regula... read more
The first time I took my baby rabbit to this vet, she was severely immune compromised. The vet had a runny nose and kept rubbing snot on the back of her hand while touching her. She had to be reminded more than three times to wash her hands. The next day the rabbit died. Disgusting. The second time I had no choice but to bring my dog in for emergency care. Vet was very professional, did her job. When asking for a payment plan, reception staff, Beck was very rude and accused me of the fact that she would be in trouble with h... read more
