First let me say that the person performing the ultrasound I had at Northside was excellent, but the billing was a little confusing. First, I was contacted by phone and gave the information necessary for my pre-registration. At that time I was informed that my responsibility after insurance would be $610. Which I paid over the phone. A couple of weeks after the procedure I received an additional bill for $86.23 which I paid online. Northside Radiology incorrectly filed the bills with my insurance which caused the claim to be rejected, and instead of refiling them correctly, they sent my bill to collections. Thankfully my insurance folks were able to sort the issue out, but I never should have had to go through that.

They bleed you dry! They over charge for scans and then act like they are doing you a favor by reducing it by whatever percentage they decide that day.
