Our closing officer was unavailable at the time of our closing. A lady came in to handle the closing and admitted it was her first day on the job at the company. I don’t know if she made any mistakes but we thought it was curious that she would be put in such a position. Does not seem possible that she could have been trained fully after only a few hours at the company.
Closing figures we’re not pout on the net sheet (Realtor extra fee) after I had called twice before closing date It was rather uncomfortable Your contract closer was wonderful. I know end of month closings get crazy
If I didn’t double check the numbers on the settlement statement, I would’ve ended up paying more than I needed to pay on property taxes, title fee, etc. I thought I was paying the title company to get the numbers right. After all, this is what they are getting paid to do and what they do for a living.
