As of April 27th we are once again operating on 1 elevator. I was told all 4 would work by 3/31, then 4/7 and was last told 4/23. We are close to having no elevators in 20 floor building. This is far from "luxury".
Nove more like RUN AWAY. Wish I could give this place negative stars. Elevators don't work, property staff habitually lie, cars are constantly broken into or stolen (point of entry never fixed), pipes burst once every 5-6 months ( they wont comp your rent for the inconvenience), dog urine all over the premises, the year round pool isn't heated or cleaned in the winter... Elevators have not been working properly since November 2024. In addition, the garage gates have broken on a few occasions and are left open. With car break ins in this area that is not safe. If you are looking to move I would sadly no longer recommend Nove. Editing to add that as of 3/22 we are now operating only on the freight elevator for a 20+ story high rise.
Worst place I have ever lived. Management won't fix the elevators. This building has 20 stories and only one working elevator at any given time.
Nove's management was not only extremely poor while I was living in the apartment, but after I moved out, they wrongfully withheld my security deposit and ignored all of my questions, calls and emails. Finally, they sent me part of the check I was owed, and upon deposit, I learned Nove had reversed/cancelled the check. I moved into Nove at Knox in March 2022. From the start of moving in there was consistent issues . Biggest issue to me was the racist staff and tenants , unorganized staff , miscommunications over and over . The property is an beautiful property . However , for the price you pay , you shouldn't have to deal with racism and all the additional issues . If your African American I wouldn't recommend this property . Absolutely the worst apartment complex I've ever had to live in. Management is constantly changing and they do not care about the tenants AT ALL. The parking garage is a nightmare. The trash rooms are always loaded with trash and never cleaned/picked up. The pool is full of people who do not live there. Our door lock is a touchscreen code and it dies about every other week. 2 of 3 elevators is usually down/not working. Management fucking sucks. They don't communicate on anything. I moved in right when the building was built and things were great minus construction related issues and the build still being wrapped up, but I knew what I was getting into. Since the building was sold and the new management team is in they are horrendous. You can't get ahold of them and even if you pop in the office you're shood off as quick as they can get you out. In 2 years it had 2 owners, 4 managers, 5-6 assistant managers changed , 6-8 leasing people and 10-12 concierge changes. Security is a problem with I alone saw 5 different homeless people in the building one of which was sleeping in vestibule and another camping out I dog park. Gambling casino every Thursday with people coming and going all night. Hookers teaming and pulling hair in street in front of building as they argued over pay by resident.
