Mel, the technician was terrific and the wheelchair is renewed. However there was an an inordinate delay and wait for the parts to arrive coupled with misinformation about the status; I waited over a month. In addition it is very difficult to get in touch directly with the actual service providers as opposed to the past when I could directly contact people in my local office. James though, the manager of my local office remains accessible, reliable, and attentive to concerns.

I was sold a defective wheelchair that fell apart over the course of 3 months. The caster wheels shake badly, the backrest tore, it wasn’t correctly measured, the footplate fell off, a caster wheel fell off, it had a faulty inner tube the popped the first week I had the chair and a brake fell off. After 10 months of fighting for a new chair, Jeff Gonzalez made it right and my new chair is perfect. I had a bad experience but I’m glad that it was made right.
