I have a close friend there in Oak River Rehab. I tried to talk to her on a Friday evening at 7 PM. I let the phone ring for over 20 rings knowing that the staff might be busy. Still I did not get an answer. I do not know if this is the usual standard procedure at the Rehab but I would think there would be someone close to the supervisory station to answer the phones. Up to this point when I visited her, I did not see a problem. She is like a mom to me and I would like to make sure she has the ability to talk to people ... read more

I think this is a great place. My gramma just moved in and she loves it. She says they are very welcoming and take great care. They meet new friends and get to interact with other people. Most eat breakfast lunch and dinner together. The staff there is awesome!

My husband has been paralyzed for 15 years, and this is the second Rehab Center he has been in since I could no longer care for him at home. This place is superb! He has been here for about 5 years now. They are all part of our family. Everyone talks to him, knows him, and enjoys talking to him. I could not ask for a better place!!

This will be the second time my mom has been in this SNF and I must say we are really impressed with this place. The staff is great and totally on top of every aspect of her care, if you need a place for your loved one you can't go wrong here.

A senior member of our church was recently sent here for rehab before transferring to another long term care center. The family watched on as we did as well that this patient and his roommate were purposely ignored. I will say there was one aid Cody and a nurse named April that did an amazing job and when on shift would ensure to respond to call lights. Many of the other aids and nurses could be heard saying just turn the light off they will be fine. Care was subpar. A rabid dog gets better care. Do not bother complaini... read more

My grandma was sent their after 2 surgeries no one would help her to use the bathroom so she risked it and then urine and feces were not taken out in over a day it Stunk really bad they would answer her call button and never checked on her. They were supposed to give her a shower but didn't and left her in dirty clothes...so she had to sign out and get care from home..

After falling in September and hospitalized, my husband was sent to Oak River. There aren't many choices for this kind of care in the north state. When admitted, apparently our insurance was incorrectly processed which led to problems with billing. I called Medicare to get it straightened out. The frontline staff does what they can within the facility's guidelines. They treated my husband with respect and gave him good care for the most part. It is the Administrator and his staff which leaves a lot to be desired. Thei... read more

My mother in law was admitted there recentky. The staff lied to the family regarding her condition. The first time they said she was incoherent which turned out not true. The most recent incident was shortly after she had surgery..my sister in law received a phone call stating she was not responding, the nurse insisted the administer morphine , which has been clearly stated by family on her records she is allergic. My husband drove 4 hours immediately to see what was happening, my mother in law fell ill after surgery and t... read more

Absolutely worst interview process. Not a good company to work for as no one knows what's going on. Got a call to set up an interview explained that I lived at least 30 minutes away from the rehab and they still set me for 30 mins after my scheduled time to get off. To be a decent human I called and let them know I wouldn't make it on time as there was an emergency at my first job and the front desk girl, Jackie, proceeded to laugh and tell me okay. I then called back as it was 1:50pm and my interview was at 2pm and again li... read more
