My wife and I lived in these apartments for a year, I had done a lot of research on the place prior to moving in and after visiting several complexes, we decided to give this place a try. I was not disappointed. The apartments are hidden behind from the main street, so you do get some privacy and it's gated. My boyfriend and I lived at Oakhampton place for 6 months and we had an extremely pleasant experience! From the first day of move in, until the last week- we always felt this place was safe, clean, and a peaceful place to live. The ladies from the front office knew us and would know whenever we had a package or not! Everyone was friendly to our puppy and us! Update on this sorry ass excuse of apartment. On top of being broken into by them, and robbed, I was flooded over a hand full of times, management has the nerve to charge me a cleaning fee when I left. I walked the apartment when I left with office guy and everything was good. I left that place immaculate! When they sent me the deposit they took $150 for cleaning. I have pictures of how I left it. We understand your frustrations regarding your person belongings, but we can assure you that our team did not take, remove, or discard anything of yours at any point during your stay. Please Read Before Renting We stayed in Apartment 1505 for a year and had continuous problems for 6 MONTHS! From the beginning we had a roach issue and by the other reviews, so do most tenants. Pest Control came twice and it didn't make much of an impact. Upon move in, we had no access to the outdoor storage. It wasn't until 3 weeks later they rekeyed the door and found that the water heater from upstairs had leaked and broken through the ceiling. We couldn't use it until it was fixed. Pools are still dirty! Even when they clean it they don't clean the bottom where all the dirt and leaves are. It's summer time what are we paying for?? If we can't use the pools.

Definitely DO NOT LIVE HERE! They do water shut offs a few times a week and they aren't just for 30 minutes, they range anywhere for 3 hours to 9 hours and it's always an overnight thing that they randomly have a broken pipe so it's super nice to always wake up to no water. Not only this issue but the management team likes to add extra things onto your rent each month, and they have no clue what they are doing.

I lived here for two years, experienced multiple unannounced water outages that lasted anywhere from 1 hour to 30 hours. I slipped in black mud that covers the sidewalks anytime it rains and is unavoidable. Speaking of, the sidewalks are poorly constructed and pool water constantly (Don't expect to wear white shoes)This is not a gated community as advertised, you need to purchase a non-refundable clicker to get in/out and there is no gate along the side of a trail that leads to a nursing home. This place. I've never felt so unsafe as a young woman in an apartment complex. We arrived to the construction that we knew about - but we had no clue how horrible it would be. the construction workers bothering me became a daily issue for the 4 months we were here. even our neighbors noticed it. during the worst of the quarentine they still came every day ALL day. I have rented many apartments over the years and I am a reasonable and fairly easy going person. My experience over the past year at Oak Hampton prompts me to write this review. Scrolling through some of the other reviews I am convinced management has written at least some of the good reviews. Not suitable for dogs or those with children. Nowhere to walk dogs without them becoming caked in mud and requiring a bath after every walk when it rains. Dog park is a tiny area with no grass.
