Definitely responsive when I've contacted them with questions or concerns. Everyone's helpful, but there does seem to be a lot of turnover. Seems I talk to a different person each time. My mom's room is a great size. Her window has a lovely view of trees and sky. Her bathroom works well for us. I help her shower and there's plenty of room. My mom does not socialize or participate in any activities, doesn't even go down for meals. So I can't comment on that. But she really enjoys the meals and has actually put on some weight.... read more

What we like the most about the community is that the staff have been good, although a lot of managers turnover.

I would recommend this facility only for residents who would be taking their meals in the dining room.
My father lives here. He was welcomed by many residents and made good friends. He loves the many groups and their lunches.

They mom lives here and she loves it. The stuff are very nice and helpful. She has made so many friends. She loves the activities person and the fun things they do!

The staff at Oaks at Towne Lake were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping seemed to keep the rooms clean and most importantly the bathroom was cleaned. The food was good and they tried to make sure that my loved one got something that she liked. We didn't get much help moving in or out. The staff on the floor were good about communicating, but the head people were not timely with communication.

My mom loved the food, which was the highlight. She was there for two weeks, for respite care. The food was top notch. It was close by, which was the main reason. It was a good experience. I would recommend to other families.

If you don't use the in house people or doctors, then it is hard to get information from the actual physician back to them. Communication with the physicians could definitely be improve on. Overall I would recommend Oaks at Towne Lake to others.
