Due to a few incidents we've had with my dad, he's needed care after the hospital several times over the years. We have visited a few, and none come close to Oakwood. You always wonder coming in to a new setting what it will be like, but the team here is welcoming, kind, and silver great care. I'll never take my loved ones anywhere else.

Love this place, great staff and therapy department. Building is nice but restrooms are on the small side. Overall people are helpful and very caring.

The best part of Oakwood is the staff. Almost every nurse, care assistant, physical therapist, maintenance, custodial and other staff person were excellent and super helpful. The food was generally quite good. I was a resident for nearly 2 months and it was overall a good experience.

The staff was great. Always ready to help. Gloria Renovato was very helpful even after my mother was discharged. The food was ok, and you could ask for something off another menu if you did not what was on the menu for that day. Only bad part was the sharing of the bathroom between 2 rooms. They had a bifold door on both sides of the bathroom and not a regular door. Nice outdoor area family could go to visit if the weather was good.

My mother was treated very well I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is in need of physical therapy. Gloria and all the staff were very attentive to my mother and and all of her needs I want to thank you very very much from the Garza family

My mom spent two weeks in rehab after colon surgery. Best place ever. Activites physical n occupational therapy delicious meals and a caring staff. Would highly recommend this facility.

Worst place for your loved ones, worst sleeping accommodations, like sleeping on a camping cot , a restroom to be used between 6 to 8 person, showers 2 times a wk if lucky Community showers.No privacy .Worst food .So sorry that I was there for a short.I wasn't treated with dignity. I'm a Person.

Adding to yesterday's (6/24/26) review. Oakwood had ne pick up my husbands belongings. Today they called the hospital inquiring when will my husband be back at their facility. You told the hospital you didn't want him back for whatever reason. ( let's see being quiet, being cooperative etc). They had me pick up his belongings per protocol and they don't have storage. (Bologna Ham and cheese). No one can call me back or explain what's going on when I followed the policies and now you want him back. (Very fishy) ... read more

What is going on with these care facilities? They're only in it for the money. There's a certain type of people that work in these facilities and they're not caring people that's for sure. We chose Oakwood Gardens because they were recommended by Medicare. We do not recommend this facility at all. On June 21, 2926, I was awaken at 6:30am informing me they were sending my husband to the hospital by ambulance. We're in emergency and the doctor asked what exactly did they see.
