Management Office Is Fabulous
Brittany and Veronica are very responsive, courteous, and professional. They are big on coordinating events that engage the Oglesby Towers Community neighbors; which makes this living space that much better and is instrumental considering the times we live in :-). When running across the maintenance man/ building engineer , he’ll inquire if everything is going well(which is rare considering a building engineer’s job is labor intensive)!

Great place to live!
This a great place to live. The manger Brittany and Veronica the assistant manger are a great team. They are very attentive to the tenants needs. The maintenance engineer is an asset to the team. He is very professional and knowledgeable. The building management and maintenance has greatly improved since Birttany's return. Our unit is spacious and comfortable. The views are magnificent.

Great place to stay
Anytime I need anything done maintenance wise it’s done in a timely fashion & I can appreciate that! Also the new property managers are very friendly & they get things done!

Nice view
The location, price, views, and onsite management are all a plus. The bus stop is literally right out front. This building is about 5 mins from Hyde Park and not too deep into South Shore that you encounter a lot of the riff raff. Brittany and Veronica are very pleasant, professional, and attentive. The gorgeous lake front views and the natural lighting is everything. This is an old building, which a lot of buildings in Chicago are old. HOWEVER that doesn’t mean the upkeep should be subpar. The issue I have with this building is strictly the fault of TLC property management as a whole. I’ve been to their Hyde park buildings and the upkeep there is up to par. Upon move in, it was clear that my apartment wasn’t cleaned prior. There’s dust and filth on every window sill. There’s dust and flith throughout the baseboards of my unit. The air vents have caked on dust. The cupboard can use a good coat of paint. All the outlets and towel holders affixed to the walls are crooked. Even Stevie Wonder could see they’re asymmetrical. Every single closet door in my apartment takes tugging, pulling, and forcing to open and close them. The AC units are dusty and need cleaning. The hallways have this pungent aroma and the carpet needs a good washing. Like I said it’s a TLC corporate issue. They pump money and attention into their HP properties while neglecting the other ones. From who they contract to clean, upkeep, and maintenance of the building is just mediocre. This building has a lot of potential. There are a lot of nice things about the building, but the esthetics just overrides that. It’s literally simple fixes here and there that can boast this building. The on-site staff gets an A because they truly are wonderful.

Princess was wonderful! She went over and above. She showed apts. after business hours to accommodate my work schedule. Very professional and upbeat!

New Residents
We have been residents of TLC Management for going on 4yrs, (Northside) and when we needed to upgrade, the management staff was very accommodating. Now as TLC Residents on the Southside, we are very happy with our new residence in "The Oglesby Towers" our beautiful unit features beautiful views, on the east side we have a balcony facing Lake Michigan, and our north view is the golf course across the street , along with the park, and boat harbor, and a breathtaking view of the city skyline. The entire staff are friendly, and personable. The building has many amenities to offer, a community room, workout room, indoor parking, doorman, and a laundry room, the bus stop is literally only steps from the building. Our move in was easy and smooth. We see ourselves living here a long time. I would definitely recommend Oglesby Towers, to anyone wanting a great residence.
