Went over everything with me,took the time to let me ask questions..ive had cancer 7 yrs now,saw 20 doctors at st alphonsus, this guy and dr RU both great.
He and his staff are awesome
Dr C took care of my son who had a life threatening accident. Dr Choutka showed exceptional care and concern for my kid and our family not to mention he is an amazing surgeon who handled the emergency surgery so well! He and his team communicated openly and honestly and made themselves available to our entire family! I cannot express how grateful we are for Dr Choutka and his team. Props to St Al’s for landing this amazing person!
Dr. Choutka is so kind and took time to show me the MRI and Xrays and explained everything that he would be doing in surgery and patiently answered all my questions.
Dr. Chutka gave me the answers I was needing and some clarity on some things I was told that were misleading. He was very thorough and had myself and my husband involved in the conversation all the way through. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chutka to anyone!!

He really got to know me. There was no rush, the concern was there. I walked out having more confidence in myself, the directions and choices I have. It was a wonderful visit and look forward to the future.
I had a dangerous metastatic breast cancer tumor compressing my spinal cord and needed urgent surgery to hopefully not be paralyzed. Thanks to Dr. Choutka and the excellent team at Saint Alphonsus (and a lot of PT) I have been able to go kayaking and hiking this summer. He explained things thoroughly and was very kind.
