Dr. Choutka is the best and most honest person we have meet in a very long time. We just love him for all he has done for us. I have recommended him to people who I know and tell them he is very truthful and caring for his patients. His opinion is all I need for what I do next.
Ondrej and his P.A. Carin are an amazing team. Ondrej was my significant others doctor when he fell and had cerebral hemorrhage. The outcome was not what we hoped for, but the care and compassion that was given not only to the patient, but myself and my daughter was outstanding. I would recommend this doctor to anyone, he doesn’t sugar coat anything but is up front with all the information. And he is always available. I can’t say enough good about this man and his P.A.

Ondrej and his PA Carin were very personable and spent more than a fair amount of time explaining three possible procedures to minimize the phantom limb pains that have haunted me since my below amputation in 2011.
Dr. Choutka is a very compassionate person. I would recommend that if you need a nuero specialist you go to him .

The last Neurosurgical consultation I had in Boise I waited three and a half hours. Not with Dr. Choutka. Not with St. Alphonsus. Spot on time. He took the time to sort out a year and a half of my very complicated neurologic train wreck. Broke it down piece by piece. Made it all a bit more manageable. Left with a plan. If I get better I will circle back and update and add more positive to his scores. If I take a turn for the worse, well I will share that also. He actually examined me!
We were so blessed Dr. Choutka was there when I was ambulanced to the hospital. We were told to expect surgery, due to Dr Choutkas expertise he chose to runl tests before surgery. What a blessing for me as he realized, at the time, surgery was not needed. He is personable, extremely knowledgeable, caring and patient with all of my silly questions. He is highly thought of by the hospital nurses willing to do what it takes to make his patients comfortable.
He has a great caring bedside manor. Very trueful. An amazing surgeon. Would recommend him for my own family and loved ones.
