I love that the facility is small and intimate. Easy for the residents to get to know each other. And easy for this staff to know each resident. [name removed] , the executive director, is the best! She knows and cares about each resident. She makes each resident feel loved and gives lots of hugs! She listens well and is quick to handle any issues that arise. The staff that I interact with are typically med techs bringing her medicine. But everyone is very kind and polite. Aunt [name removed] chooses not to attend any of the activities, but I love reading on the board in the main room all the fun activities that are planned for the residents. I don't think Lou ever goes to the dining room to eat, I think she stays in her room and they make her a grilled cheese sandwich every day. But I've seen the menu and it looks great. I'm not sure we could have found a better place for my mother-in-law. The staff is especially caring and attentive, food is very good, they do so many things to keep the residents engaged and as active as possible and there is a sincere family atmosphere. In house physical and occupational therapists, nurse practitioner that comes regularly are things you don't find most places. And mom thinks it is wonderful!

The staff there are fabulous and my mom is slowly regaining some independence. This was exactly the place we all needed!

When we first toured Parsons we felt loved and cared for by the staff. Now that our loved one is a resident she is well cared for. She doesn’t yet feel up to socializing with the other residents but I hope she leaves her room and participates in activities soon. The staff is all amazing and we continue to feel loved.

My dad has been at the Parsons House for 4 1/2 years. The Parsons House is a small and warm community that works hard to reach each residents individual needs. The residents have many opportunities to be involved and to get to know each other. Activities, games, educational meetings, gardening, walks, excursions and more are available. For the residents. The residents families are included and invited to participate in the community . The Parsons House has been a blessing to our family.
I've lived at Parsons House for 8 years and have had a good family experience. It has a lower population and is more one on one.. There are activities from games, restaurants and shopping to participate in and friendly staff.
Chef [name removed] truly is the best chef the food is not only fresh and innovative but he really takes the time to hear the residents. No matter what he always takes what they want into consideration weather its making Flan or amorosa salad he loves to see the smiles on their faces. The food is absolutely delicious and he prides his self on putting the food out in front of you hot and garnished.
