Parsons House is different than other facilities. The rooms are small, just a bedroom and bathroom. They have a large room where people gather. This is by design. Don’t stay in your room, get out and mingle. Not a bad idea, just not for me.

Apartment is perfect size- small with a kitchenette and mini fridge. Great walk in shower with chair. The building is always clean and tidy- I've never seen bugs. The staff is a 10/10. They are wonderful, caring people who really go above and beyond for their residents. My uncle does not partake in activities, but there is always something to do- stretching and movement as well as mentally stimulating games. We love it. She wasn't there long before she got a foot infection and has been in rehab about 45 days. But her room at Parson House is ready for her to return. Parsons House was wonderful to mom. They made move in easy, they took loving care of her, the food was really good. Housekeeping was great, the evening shift was very attentive. Everyone seems pretty satisfied and it was great for mom.

The facility is on the smaller side so most of the residents know each other. It also makes it more personable. All the staff are kind and very attentive to the residents needs.

They have a very caring staff. They treated my Daddy with dignity. Low turnover of staff. Most folks have worked there for years. Quick response to call buttons. I highly recommend Parsons House.

5 on all accounts, the staff goes above and beyond to make the transition as smooth as possible. The facility and staff offer a variety of activities, but are open to suggestions should your loved one have hobbies or interests they don't address. They go out of their way to be accommodating to each resident. They show genuine concern for their residents, addressing issues they may see. Their communication is outstanding. My dad was a resident here for a short time before he passed away. He was always treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. He loved the people and the food. I placed a camera in my dad's room (with permission). His call button was answered quickly. The workers who responded to his call were very attentive to his needs. I highly recommend Parsons House.
I would give them an overall 5 on everything. Their residents are happy, the staff is great, the food is enjoyable, and the care of the patients is great. When speaking to families of the other residents, I have only heard how pleased everyone is with Parsons House. I highly recommend this place for loved ones.
