Very pleased. Everyone is very experienced and caring. I am quite happy to call this my home.
I couldn't ask for a better place to live at. All the staff are friendly and super nice in helping our director. Every resident has treated me and everyone else respectfully and friendly. It's very easygoing here. Thanks for all.
When I came here from Phoenix, this place was like heaven. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and pleasant - residents and staff. After over 1.5 years, everything is still the same. I have made a lot of friends among residents, staff.
I toured Parsons House La Porte and it was a nice tour! The facility was very clean. The staff was polite. However, this facility wasn't our first choice.
My loved one absolutely loves it there...especially the workers. I think the friendliness, kindness, patience, and the recognition of her individual gifts is what separates Parson's House from her first home. I don't have any improvements to share.
This was a pretty good tour at this community. They gave me a lot of information and was able to answer all of my questions.
This was a really good community but my loved one was too far gone by the time I made my decision it was too big. Very nice and I really liked it.
We were pleasantly surprised that there was pretty much no adjustment period. Mom went right in there, and in those first two weeks, they really pay a lot of attention to the residents and make sure they get settled in. They sat her at a table with a group of people they felt she would fit in with. We couldn't be happier. She doesn't talk about dying anymore. She's made friends, and she's always telling me "I have to go eat and meet up with my friends." We're very pleased.
The words and stars cannot begin to show my appreciation for the care my father received. It was a difficult decision finding a new home for someone that has been independent for 94 years. Parsons House made his transition and acceptance of his new home better than even he expected. The best thing I can say is I would not hesitate to make the same decision again.
