We were pleasantly surprised that there was pretty much no adjustment period. Mom went right in there, and in those first two weeks, they really pay a lot of attention to the residents and make sure they get settled in. They sat her at a table with a group of people they felt she would fit in with. We couldn't be happier. She doesn't talk about dying anymore. She's made friends, and she's always telling me "I have to go eat and meet up with my friends." We're very pleased.

The words and stars cannot begin to show my appreciation for the care my father received. It was a difficult decision finding a new home for someone that has been independent for 94 years. Parsons House made his transition and acceptance of his new home better than even he expected. The best thing I can say is I would not hesitate to make the same decision again.

The staff is kind and very attentive. The entry process was very personal. Parsons House La Porte is clean and very well maintained. There are lots of things for you loved one to attend each day, from games to exercise and crafts projects. All of the staff is very professional kind and compassionate.

We absolutely love Parson's House. My dad is very happy living there. The staff is so helpful and so nice. It's a loving and caring environment the Social Director has so many fun things for the residents. Thank you for taking such good care of my dad. {name removed}

Parsons House went above and beyond in a time of need. They truly care and have staff that have been there for more than 20 years which is rare. It’s not brand new but it’s definitely clean, and has a great feeling when you walk in. Everyone from Housekeeping, dining, management, and caregivers are very friendly. I love how it’s family owned. I've already told others about Parsons House La Porte for the care of their loved ones. I will keep on recommend this community. My loved one is very happy and thriving since we moved them to this community. The staff are great to work with and they are helpful and nice.

I love that this community is family-owned and some of the staff have been there either since the beginning or shortly after. There doesn't seem to be the turnover that there is some other places. The beauty shop and movie theater are great, and I like the family dining room they have for when their residents "have company." I met the Exec Director who was very nice. The staff is helpful, courteous, and friendly and the community is neat and clean. The food is also very good and my loved one enjoys it. I would recommend this community to others

The staff members at Parsons House were very personable, caring and very eager to give us the help we needed. They always pointed us in the right direction. We thought the rooms were perfect size, and the bathrooms were nice and large. It had everything our loved one needed.
