Traveled from out of town and waited 3 weeks for my appointment just to be told there was nothing that could be done to help me before my symptoms were even discussed. Felt very rushed through the check-in process all the way through the visit. Doctor stayed in room less than 2 minutes with check-out paperwork already filled out and in hand. Being referred to this office by someone who was honest and said they weren’t sure how to help, I was given false hope that my symptoms and next steps would even be open for discussion (... read more

I’m trying to not get second opinion but I have to . Appointments are always rushed even when as the pay trying to explain things . He fast talk for 2-3 mins ask to look at what you’re there for then get up walked out as I was sharing my concerns . A hours 9 mins travel for a 2-3 minute visit due to doctor rushing and not listening to concern . Waste of a co pay matters well see someone else but other staff is more attentive and will answer your questions.

I had two appointments- first one lasted 3-4 minutes and the second one lasted 5 minutes. Yes, I actually used a stopwatch to document the 2nd visit. He never once looked at my ankle, checked for swelling or abnormalities, etc. After a MRI I was shown one image and told I needed surgery. He did not explain what it would entail, how long it would last, or where it would be done. He did explain recovery time but that was it. I’ve never been less impressed with a physician in my life. Afterward, I scheduled an appt. with ankle ... read more

I had a really bad fall last year and needed orthopedic surgery. I was referred to Dr. Kerner, and my experience was absolutely terrible. He was rude, condescending, unprofessional, and very angry. He yelled at me. He was dismissive and rude if I asked him any questions. He has a terrible bedside manner. I almost cried when I left his office several times. He needs to be more compassionate and understand that not everyone is getting surgery every day of their life. He is not a nice person. I would not recommend him at all. A... read more

I waited for an hour to see this doctor. He was in a hurry and it showed. He made me feel like I was wasting his time.

I have been at this office since Feb 15 and I have seen four doctors who all couldn’t agree on what pain I was experiencing and why. Then this last visit I was asked to see Kerner and he spent all of five minutes in the room with me. Cut me off as I was explaining my situation. Mansplained my pain and then dismissed me to do PT and with another prescription I didn’t want. Would NEVER go back to this office.

Dr. Kerner does not follow through on his promises. Operative notes are not timely. he looks down his nose for Worker’s Compensation patients. Did not meet with me after my wife’s surgery. Told me he would request a Home Health Assessment and did not do so. Not a good way to treat his patients.

If you are looking for someone to spend alot of time with you, forget it. I had plantar faciitus surgery and had my throat collapse, do you think he or anyone shared that with me, also he did not put it in my report.

I waited more than half an hour past my appt time in the exam room with no communication about the wait, then the doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me. He focused much more on my weight than on my injury. I left feeling many times worse than when I went in. Terrible bedside manner. Will never return to EmergeOrtho.
