If you are looking for someone to spend alot of time with you, forget it. I had plantar faciitus surgery and had my throat collapse, do you think he or anyone shared that with me, also he did not put it in my report.

I waited more than half an hour past my appt time in the exam room with no communication about the wait, then the doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me. He focused much more on my weight than on my injury. I left feeling many times worse than when I went in. Terrible bedside manner. Will never return to EmergeOrtho.

Have never been more Miserable in my life these last five years since I started seeing this guy. Tore me up, sliced, diced and chopped. My life is ruined. And he doesn’t care.

I do NOT recommend Dr. Paul Kerner. Not only did he rush through every appointment and never show me images of my Xrays, he told me surgery was the only option for my fractured collarbone that was slow to heal. I went to a different orthopedic for a 2nd opinion. He tested my vitamin D level and determined it was too low, put me on a supplement, and my collarbone has now healed. Unless you really want to go under the knife and spend a ton of money, I would suggest you not go to Emerge Ortho or Dr. Kerner. I am giving 1 star i... read more

I'm posting as a follow up to my July 16 diagnosis from Dr. Kerner and am downgrading my experience with him from two to one star. I went to another foot specialist for a second opinion because a couple weeks post injection, I found myself in pain again. It turns out that I do NOT have arthritis or joint damage as Dr Kerner strongly insisted, but rather a benign cyst in my foot and other bio mechanical issues from a former knee surgery contributing to my foot pain that I've been working through with a physical therapist. I w... read more

Went in with knee pain after an auto accident. I was a pedestrian. Dr. Kerner ordered and reviewed x-rays, but never actually touched the injured leg. Said to come back in 4-6 weeks if not feeling better. What I wanted was a detailed exam to see if there were tears or other issues with knee. One week later and pain is now worse, so I am going to find a doctor who isn't too rushed to actually provide a real examination. Glad to share more details with any prospective patients.

We did a virtual visit and it lasted 3 while minutes he was very quick to rush off and not answer questions. Very very upsetting.
