Great customer service. Handled the changeover from another payroll company. I love my payroll rep. Easy to talk to and very efficient.

After years of being passed around from one representative to another the mistakes started to happen. I finally got fed up and canceled my service with them. But that wasn't the end of it. After canceling and without my authorization they ran reports and are now charging me for said reports. I've been disputing this charge and now they've sent me to collections to extort the money from me! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . The most incompetent and corrupt organization

In sum, a nightmare from the start, and when searching A.I. for "which payroll service provider has the worst reviews", it's Paychex' name that comes up. RUN the other direction unless you like being put through H.E. double toothpicks. Five payrolls in (semi-monthly, so 2-1/2 month's worth of Paychex), every single payroll had many, many, way too many errors, they don't even know how to calculate time a half. I absolutely loathe a day I decided to sign up for Paychex to handle my company's payroll needs. In the beginning, I had ONE employee, he lived in Philadelphia another time. I had Paychex set up all my accounts and everything they needed from day one. Here you are years later and they still can't get it right. If i could leave a negative star review i would, i don't even know where to start. it would probably be easier to list the things they are good at..... well now that that's out of the way. Run away from this company it is two marks away from being a straight up scam.

Since Feb 2025 my employer and myself have contacted Paychex to get a corrected W-2. They stated 5 weeks it takes for a corrected W-2 to be sent. It's May 14th and still nothing. You can't even talk to anyone at Paychex they tell you to email your account rep because they don't work in an office. They are by far the worst payroll company I have ever encountered. If I could give negative 10 stars I would.
