If you have a lot of time to waste then this company may be good for you. They make it appear like they have all these great services, & online tools etc and yet fail miserably short when it comes to customer service & technical support! I have spent more than an 1-1/4 hours trying to get technical support to assist with some minor changes i did not know how to make. I used Paychex for my small business successfully for about 2 years. Unfortunately, after my "intro rate" expired, I found the invoice cost too high. I shopped around and found Pay-Tech, another company. Then the problems started with Paychex. I have since canceled my account with a "no issues, it's easy, you're not under contract." Then I ran my first payroll with the new service and it all seemed fine, no charge from Paychex that month. Now a good 45 days after I've canceled, I have received an invoice charge. Again, if a "no star" review was possible....This company double filed one of our quarters and did not ever resolve it for us. WE had to resolve THEIR mistake. Also, we quit using them, they charged us for two additional months, and then put us in collections over those months. When we did not pay they would not give us our reports. They are sketchy and I would not recommend doing business with them. We use PAYCOM now. They are LESS EXPENSIVE and so much BETTER!
If it were possible to do "no stars" I would do so. This company should be avoided at all costs. During my several year relationship with them, they would never disclose a summary of their fees to me, and they often simply missed any personnel change, despite being informed of it. Their service after-the-sale is pathetic, and woe betide you if you leave them for someone who needs service, but you still need them to produce some kind of final documents, like W2's for former employees.
