I have been getting emails from an employee there. Shaheen Mehrdad Retirement Consultant Mobile - 702-772-0167 smehrdad@paychex.com I have notified him multiple times that I have no affiliation with his company. He says I am his contact for a company I no longer work for. I cannot get him to stop emailing me and have contacted Paychex to ask for help with this. Attempted to speak with customer support as I have worked for 3 locations with the same company, but are considered separate entities. Even with the same SSN, they are not able to add the other locations without approval for a W-2 and their payroll is constantly screwed up. Frustrating to say the least, but nobody does anything to solve the situation and consistently pass the buck. I would NEVER recommend using this company for anything unless you want a constant headache.

Incredibly pushy cold calling staff that can't take no for an answer. I said "No thank you" at least three times before I started to get rude. No means no, Paychex team. Please learn to respect the word or you will get more reviews like this one.

My employer uses Paychex. They set me up wrong so it wasn't accruing time off for me and letting me ask for time off. It took a while to resolve, but their lack of attention to detail from the start (initially I also couldn't see my paystubs!) is incredible. I was set up as someone else for time and attendance!

I was a sole proprietor. This company overwhelmed me with fees. Big mistake -I also set up a 401k plan with them and have spent hours after closing my business and administrative account with them attempting to get a distribution of my funds. Everything must be done on line. I had problems with a secret question answer and can get NO help to resolve it. They have terrible customer service and excessive surprise fees coming at you from all directions. I felt scammed and still am until I can figure out how to get my own money!... read more

Too bad you cant give 0 stars. If your looking for a payroll company that keeps you on hold forever, This is the company for you! Just calling in payroll can take hours.

I have had nothing but problems that past 1.5 months. They do not pay attention to pay dates (submitted 9/15 payroll on 9/13 but paid 9/29). Then they didn't issue 9/15 payroll until 9/18 so we were paid late. They have not entered the 401k deduction correctly. Double taxed my fed taxes. If you don't ask to check every detail, something will be wrong. Finally they agreed to waive the entire month of Sept charges. Very low customer service these days. It used to be much better with infrequent errors.

Sales calls don't stop. Trying to win business back and sell more stuff by being pushy without excepting any responsibility. If Paychex issued me a full refund for all the money I spent with them and gave me free service for life, I would pass. Avoid at all costs. Would not recommend them at all.
