I would say overall good, simply because I was promised more help dealing with her long term care insurance than I was given. That being said, there are new workers there now, specifically in billing, and they are much more helpful than the people we started with. Everything else seems pretty good. They have activities, fertile trips, parties, and walking clubs. It is always clean when I'm there, and they're good at communicating when there is an issue, like with the ice storm. The staff is thoughtful, caring and give of themselves. They all truly care about the residents and their families. Moving my mom there is something I have not regretted. Very pleased.
The staff is very accommodating and engages with the residents. My mom hasn't complained about the food at all. They have activities throughout the day to keep the residents engaged as well as letting the residents feel comfortable if they choose not participate. The room is comfortable, there are many spaces on the property for residents to sit with each other. The staff hold various events during the month and for holidays. I'm very satisfied and comfortable in choosing Pecan Point for my Mother.

It has been fine, except that their billing department is not very good at their job, which means that we've been having trouble getting reimbursement from the long term care. Everything else has been fine.
They just changed owners so time will tell. The staff are wonderful that take care of the patients. The office staff I have had a couple of issues but nothing major. Overall very good. Really my only complaints are due to short staff. My moms room and bathroom is not cleaned as well as it should be. I literally take a broom up there occasionally and sweep the floor under her bed is so nasty. They do not do enough activity with them but once again they are short on staff. The staff at Pecan Point is very professional,family oriented,hard-working,and compassionate.The caregiving team,”ROCK!” I love how the Administrator,Memory Care Director,and The Marketing department are hands on with the residents. [name removed]

I highly recommend this facility. They have recently changed Directors as well as several other staff. The change has been nearly seamless and pt family members have been kept up to date on the various changes.

We were very impressed with the pecan point especially with the cleanliness and how nice everyone was. Once she got moved in they changed directors and things changed a little bit. I’m not as happy as I thought I was going to be but so far it is OK.
