I'm trying to see why if my son had an 8:20 appointment why was he just called in the back at 9:02 this is very unprofessional being I have to be at work this is very unprofessional and additional training needs to be done immediately I'm not happy about this
I've been coming here for almost 2.5 years. The only reason I'm giving Pediatric Associates of Fort Lauderdale one star is because I liked Dr. Urena. If you want to take your child to a doctors office that is lacking in cleanliness, organization, punctuality, and kindness then this is the doctors office for you. The Nurses treat your children as if they are just a number. Extremely rough with babies/toddlers when it comes to measuring, temperature taking, and shots. Generally we have always had a good experience with the exception of them always trying to charge a co pay for a wellness visit. (doesn't require a co pay) Let me start by saying the convenience and service is pretty consistent, generally pretty good. This review is completely related to the cleanliness. Wait times have gotten worse. They overbook patients. Waiting over 1/2 hr just to get into an exam room!
Long doctor wait times. Taken on time and nurse asked questions within first 20 minutes then waited in tiny room with 2 year old for 40 minutes for doctor!! Requested full medical file on way out and won't return! If you want your kids to have a positive experience of the doctors office then don't go here!
This is the Walmart of pediatric care. Save yourself the headache and wait times even with appointments. Find yourself a local, reliable and personable doctor for your young ones. I will say, I never had issue with one of the doctors. Doctors are fantastic. They serve a lot of people and that is exactly their downfall. They have no way of controlling the amount of walk in appointments but that should not affect the people that are there with an appointment

Dr. Urena said they would do blood work for CANCER if my daughters fever persists...who drops a word like that?! We took our daughter to see Dr. Tailor on a Friday (after our daughter had a fever on and off all week), she gave her a decongestant (not exactly they way I would treat a fever- but I'm not a Dr). By Monday night she had a fever of 103.8 and I got her in to see Dr. Urena at 8:30am (took the first available Dr). She told me that my daughter had an ear infection, prescribed antibiotics and told me that if the feve... read more

My child is enrolled with Pediatric Associates. I was called by my child's school informing me he has a fever over 102 degrees. I was told if I can't have my child to Pediatric Associates within 10 minutes not to bring him because the doctors would be at lunch and they ONLY take appointments. Next time I'll tell my son to plan his sickness! And I do NOT have Obamacare! #DisgustedDad...

What a horrible office !!!! Can't even get anyone to pick up the phone and answer it .. Wow!! And I also been getting charged way too much for visits and shots !! This place is a joke and so is the staff !
