Whenever my dogs or cat need Veterinarian care I request Dr. Hyatt for their appointments. He is in high demand so sometimes that means the appointment may take several days but, if my animal is stable, he is worth the wait. He is very thorough and has been able to diagnose unexpected ailments that have been missed by other vets. He has an excellent clinical acumen. Dr. Hyatt and Kayla were wonderful getting my dog Gracie in immediately for evaluation and treatment of a rapidly growing lump in her neck. I have been taking Gracie to Dr. Hyatt for over 10 years and he has always taken excellent care of her and responded quickly to any crisis as well as keeping her routine health and prevention needs carefully monitored. I have been taking my parrots to Pender for six years now. They have assisted with a number of issues including calcium deficiency in an egg-laying female along as well as routine care. I only take my female eclectus to Mike Gnowles for beak and nail trims. He is the parrot whisperer and the bird no longer requires oxygen for simple maintenance visits. Highly recommend Pender exotics and emergency.

Hafsa and Dr. Flanary were polite, informative, and super reassuring! All of my questions were answered and I left feeling in control over my pets health. I have never had such a wholesome experience at the vet. Completely off topic but Hafsas nails were so cool!

We’ve been coming to Pender for well over a decade for our Saint Bernards. Top quality emergency care, including some major surgeries and even a medical mystery over the years. Great care and great staff. Dr. Denny is our go-to, but every Vet, Tech, and front desk rep have been pleasures to work with.

Moose our newly adopted puppy had a great first visit to Pender today with Dr. Flanary. He received a thorough exam and we received great advice and answers to all of our many questions, including some key puppy safety points. Dr Flanary kept answering our questions while great vet tech Christine worked with our puppy for some of the tests and shots. We were able to schedule an appointment for our cat for the same visit. We’ve been coming to Pender for years and highly recommend it.

I recently adopted a cat and brought him in for his very first vet appointment. Dr. Adesso and Samyya were amazing. They answered all my questions and made my little guy feel right at home. 10/10 recommend.
