All the administrative and medical staff are wonderful, especially Dr. Hyatt. I have been using Pender for almost 30 years and I am so grateful for their care.
Dr. Mikheal was awesome! Very detailed in his examination and his bedside manner is remarkable. He explained the situation with our cat so that we understood what was going on and used relatable examples. Very impressed. He lifted the room with his positive attitude and outgoing personality. I would definitly recomend him and the staff.
We left a voicemail for Dr Voell, he called us back and squeezed us in that afternoon. Our dog had suddenly become sluggish and was uninterested in eating. After a thorough evaluation, he decided he was just a finicky eater since all parameters were normal. Great relief. Thanks for being there for us and Murphy.
Dr. Hyatt has been the primary vet for both our dogs and he is phenomenal. Very caring, and a good listener with recommendations tailored to a family's needs. The entire team at Pender is wonderful; our pug had a few eye issues that were urgent but not emergencies- all the vets and techs we saw in place of Dr. Hyatt were skilled and helpful.
We've been taking our cats to Pender for over 20 years and have always been treated professionally and with compassion. We currently have a 12 year old cat who has always been afraid of all strangers, so our vet visits are a challenge. Our latest wellness and shot update visit was performed with almost no waiting time, the team was very considerate of our sweetheart, treated her so well, and we were out in no time. We highly recommend Pender!

Pender has been looking after my cats for 12 years. Recently, my buddy George contracted a virus from a new kitten that almost killed him, but the vets at Pender saved his life, providing care for my little buddy but also providing support and excellent communication for me, the nervous owner sitting by the phone waiting for updates. For over 20 years, all my pets dogs have been with Dr Denny of Pender Vet. We were very lucky to find him after going to other vets in the area. We are very pleased with his knowledge and professionalism..The Pender staff make this all possible as a team.

I've been taking my dog to Pender vet for a while, and I've noticed a very friendly Technician and Doctor. They always answer the questions i have and give me their card to email them for any future questions, which is very helpful with any questions I have. I don't give five stars because sometimes I get rude representatives answering the phone when I call for help.

Dr. Yong Chang is exceptional in his care for my 13-year old Rat Terrier, Rosie. He is gentle with her and very thorough in his exams. I always feel reassured after seeing Dr. Yong; he gives solid advice and is very responsive to my questions and concerns. Although I have a Vet near me, I travel from Gainesville to Fairfax because I believe Pender Vet Hospital is the best! M. Erickson
