Alfred was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. However, once loan went to processing, it was a disaster. We rescheduled closing several times. The amount of money to close was never consistent and I ended up getting 2 different cashiers checks and a wire transfer to fund the loan. Even then the figure was wrong and I received a refund to my escrow account. I literally had to be on our closing agent daily. When we finally closed, it was because he was out and I reached someone else to set it

Quick and professional service
My experience with Penny Mac was beyond frustrating, unprofessional, and stressful. I plan to do everything in my power to change mortgage companies. I should have closed 4 months ago, I was never given a straight answer about the process, my calls and emails were never returned. I spent countless hours on a daily basis waiting on hold and then given different and inconsistent answers from my "Penny Mac team". I was sent 5 different pay off letters! I was quoted numerous different cash to close!
