This review is specifically about the veterinary care and veterinary team at Pet Paradise in Cary. My senior pups (Brownie and Rosie) had an appointment for check-ups and bloodwork. We actually changed vet hospitals to follow our favorite veterinarian who is now the lead veterinarian at Pet Paradise. My typically happy, energetic dog came home very ill and seemingly sad after just one day of boarding. She had diarrhea, vomited multiple times, and was clearly stressed. The lack of communication and care was disappointing. I will not recommend PetParadise.

If we could zero stars we would. We booked our cat for the weekend of Dec 20-23 back in July. We paid the deposit, etc at that point. Today, the day before we depart, they tell us they can't board her because she's overdue for a vaccine. They should have advised us at booking that we'd need to get that current, not wait until its too late. We will definitely not recommend this location to anyone. Very poor management.

Banfield is the worse! All they do is over charge for each and every single small detail. Each time our pet goes, there is an associated cost for something that has nothing to do with why the pet is being sent in. They failed to explain this up front, then expected us to pay all these associated fees. I will search for a smaller practice and not a commercial chain for Veterinarian services. TLDR: PP Cary did not monitor our dog for infection or tell us of the severity of her injuries while boarding. We debated making this post and wanted to give Pet Paradise Cary (PP Cary) an opportunity to try to make it better, but they've made it clear that they will not. The last FOUR times I have tried to take my dog to get groomed they have waited until I get there to come up with an excuse not to groom her. They only let you drop you dog off for grooming at 8:30am. I have work and have to schedule around it. the last four times I have tried to take my pup they have waited until I got there to tell me they couldn't and we had to reschedule. Nope, nope, nope, nope. We've taken our pups here on multiple occasions and all of a sudden we noticed a pattern. Pups come back with bowel issues, our male dog poops everywhere as if he's backed up and hasn't been let out for a week. Come to find out.... That's what's been going on. There's no outside play area so they're not taken outside to go to the bathroom. So they're expected to go to the bathroom in the same area where they sleep and play! They do not take the dogs outside and so they are forced to go in their suites or hold it all day. They get to play for maybe 45 minutes all day. I have seen where my dog only played for 2 15 minute periods. This is unacceptable and is not what they advertise.

Vet saw my puppy for 5 minutes and barely tried with him. My puppy is anxious and it was his second time here. I didn't feel the patience from the vet so I do not recommend this place this is my first puppy and I wanted a place where they actually try not just sees him for 5 minutes and is pricy for something that wasn't thorough. My dog is anxious but if you actually try he gets comfortable and this was not the case whatsoever.
