We made an appointment to have our dog evaluated. I sent his rabies and vaccine information, twice, well before a week prior to our appointment. When we arrived, suddenly there's an issue. We are kept waiting and waiting and eventually told his records are not OK. They asked us for the telephone number for the rescue from which we adopted our dog. They gave my nice comfort grip retractable leash to a different pet family and lost my dogs collar. My dog seemed extremely anxious when I picked him up as well. Do not come here!

No way no how! Wish i would have checked the reviews before i left my dogs with them! First indication is that my 1.5 yr old had to poop 3x when we arrived home and was thirsty as hell! Paid for extra play time, bath n go and nails cut! Nails are definitely not touched and saw them 1x on webcam and i was on it for hours switching to different yards! They have no compassion and i will make sure my dog people know! First time we have ever boarded our dogs . We had a celebration of life and had no other options! Terrible! ... read more

I am new to town. I needed to board my dog for the first time. The walk thru was very nice. The woman Susan was pleasant and seemed well informed during the tour. I made a reservation for my 7 year old dachshund. I dropped off my boy at 6 pm. The person behind the counter confirmed my reservation. I had brought a bag with his food and treats for the week. I've been interested in paradise for a while now. And I wanted to see what the yards were like before we bring my elder dog there and havent had the time to take one of there tours and to get a feel of the pet paradise experience. ANIMAL ABUSE. We are healthcare travelers and our dogs have been to daycares all over the country, this location along with charlottesville pet paradise have been the worst weve ever encountered. When I emailed to ask about the abrasion on one of our pups paws they attempted to blame him; I received no response after the initial email back despite my cordial and obvious interest in what happened. Started a new in office job, starting bringing my dog here because I was anxious about leaving him home alone all day, and wanted to transition him slowly. Since I've worked from home since he was 7 weeks old. His free first day visit was fine. I got photo updates and a cute little report card. His second visit was Ok. No photos, no report card. I've never written a bad review before in my life, but I'm starting here. We booked a grooming appointment for our almost 5 month, 6.5lb puppy to get a basic haircut. Dropped him off for his appointment at 1pm and they say to expect him to be done by 5pm. That's a long time but ok, I'm sure they will take care of him as they have so many dog amenities there for play and free roaming and he's had all his shots so he can be around other small dogs. We took our two 9 month old frenchie pups for a 3 day, 2 night stay. They were roomed together and because they aren't neutered yet, they had solo play time - minimum amount of time with other dogs. We brought them home Friday night and by Sunday both dogs were showing signs of illness. I spent $1000 on Sunday to take one to the emergency vet to be told it was likely kennel cough that had turned into pneumonia.
