I have been a Petro customer for Home Heating Oil for over 20 years. I did use a company or two in between for a season or two, but always went back to Petro because their service, commitment and knowledge of heating oil systems is excellent. I have used Petro Home services for the past 22 years. In that time I have had multiple emergency service calls in all weather conditions and times of day & night. They have always responded quickly and fixed my problem. Every year they contact me and go over my contract which deals with pricing and service. They offer choices that I am free to choose from and then send me a hard copy for my files. In all this time, I have had no reason to look elsewhere for my oil. I highly recommend them.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER!! Absolutely horrible. If I could give them negative 5 stars, I would. I've lost count of how many nightmare-ish experiences I've had with them. The vast majority of their workers are incompetent, they regularly make you wait 5 hours+ after the meaningless multi-hour "window time" they give you, there is zero coordination between the various workers and management, and so on. *Warning ⚠️, always watch them work on your boiler** Guy was supposed to do a tune up. He touched wires and a electric shock almost burnt his face out. I asked him what the $%#% did he do and he said oh it was nothing. I told him to stop lying and I was watching him. He then lied and said everything was working fine and tried to walk out. Thank You Petro Oil (Long Island) I give credit where I see credit is due. You want a full service Oil Company go with Petro! There's one thing I ll say, Petro's boiler mechanics/plumbers are QUALITY PEOPLE who KNOW what they are doing! They are quality people doing quality work who enjoy their jobs.
