When I initially called they were nice enough to tell me if I could wait until tomorrow they wouldn't have to charge me the emergency fee & would save me some money. This trend carried through the service and I much appreciated it. When the plumber (Matt) got there he tried everything he could to clear the line. He tried to not remove the toilet (to save us some $) but the tool he had was too small. He tried the larger tool but it was too big. I have a service contract with Petro. They came out to fix a leak on my heater. Service person came out on time, fixed the problem and cleaned up so you would never know he was even there. Very pleasant experience all the way through.
Furnace was not operating because the company's automatic delivery system ran me out of oil. <br /> Technician showed up promptly and got the furnace operating but could not get heat into the house. Had to reschedule to have zone valves replaced. Technician show up late and didn't have the required parts. I waited so long to submit this review because I wanted to see if we really were going to save any money. Our summer electric bills have dropped to a third of what they were last year. We may never fully recover the full replacement cost but getting a PECO bill for $175.00 versus $576.00 (August) is great and that is a positive for the enviornment! <br /> I no longerhave all the specs on the old oil burner but with the new system (3 zones vs. 2) we are using 50% less fuel oil. They did a good job on the actual work and stayed until they were finished. I did have to keep on them as to when they were coming and following up. Their timingwas a little off, but they were efficient once they got started. I have not had any problems with my chimney since. They were helpful in answering my other questions.
the process was better than I expected. The sale man knew what he was talking about . The installation crew had worked for the company a long time and were also very knowable . When we could not understand a few things they sent out a serviceman just to show us how it works. They also directed us towards financiers and reabate availability.
I contacted a man I had spoken with last year so it was quick, easy, and painless to get set up. I will have them come out next month to do the first cleaning.
