As a layman, understanding a bit about the procedure helped in knowing what to expect. Assistants did a great job of prepping me, and after a few minutes of being anesthetized, the doctor got right to work. The surgery took two quick sessions, and after a careful 'pack and wrap', I was finished. Before long, I was mildly alarmed when I sprang a leak, so to speak.
