I’ve always used Polaris product. I needed to upgrade because my other one was 16 years old and It was still working but beginning to slow down. So I upgraded and like it just as much and hopefully will get 16 years from this one too!

It's only been a couple of months but I like what I see! The pool cleaner does a good job of constantly moving without getting hung up on my stairs. It picks up everything on bottom of pool. The tail does not spray water out of pool.......stays below surface of water! Great job so far!

Bought 3900 sport pressure side pool cleaner to replace an 18 year old Pentair Ledgen clearer , which had done a great job over the years. The new polaris also does a great job picking 200% of leaves and debris off the bottom of pool. My only complaint is the filter bag is a bitch to empty and rinse out. Polaris suggested buying a 2nd bag so that you could let one dry out and then empty it. If that is the case for a list price of $949 it shoul come with a 2nd bag!

This is our 3rd Polaris in 30 yrs. By far the 3900 is a workhorse. Our 1st was a 280(?) and seemed to have a lot of little issues. Bought our first 3900 Sport in 2010 and it served us almost 15 yrs. We needed a new because one of the plastic gears was worn and no replacement available. Typically our Polaris runs 7/365 for about 2 hrs a session, twice a day.
