Our pool is 35 years old. Dotts construction with fiberglass walls and poured concrete bottom. I have had a Polaris since inception and this 3900 Sport is the ultimate. Instead of just replacing my old model 280 I looked into other models. The chain drive and the expanded bag system of the 3900 sold me! Its been doing its job now for over a month and is performing beyond my expectations. Love it

Great pool cleaner. I recently upgraded from the Polaris 280 which I had for over 11 years. I worked great, until it didn't. After doing plenty of research and reading reviews, I decided to go with the Polaris 3900. And, I have absolutely no regrets. It has been doing a fantastic job keeping the pool clean.
