We had a Pentair Racer that had never worked well from day one. We were continually having to replace parts on it. We could have purchased a new one for the cost of parts over the last 4 years. We upgraded to the Polaris 3900 this spring. Upgraded is such an understatement. It cleans so much better in about half the time and it doesn't get hung up on the steps.
