I've had Polaris cleaners for decades, I have a large pool and want the best so I always get the best model. My previous cleaner, almost exactly 10 years old was failing, so I ordered the 3900 Sport -- worked great, but the first time I went to clean the bag, the zippers fell off -- the end wasn't attached properly. I hope the rest of the system is built with more precision.
So far it's working great!
My Polaris 3900 does an excellent job cleaning my pool. This is my second 3900. I just wish the last one had lasted longer than it did.

Does a great job ... replaced our previous 3900 with another.
I have a small pool, vacuum works okay put has issues climbing three small steps.
We were surprised to see what a difference upgrading to the Polaris 3900 Sport made in the cleanliness of our pool.
Works well so far
We upgraded our 20+ Year Old Polaris with the 3900 Sport. The 3900 Sport does a better job of cleaning and cycling the pool water. So far the Polaris 3900 appears to be a good investment, ask me again in 20 years though.
