The computer on the Polaris, that was purchased on August 1 did not make it to September 1. After a long back-and-forth with the representative, through the dealer that I purchased it from, to try multiple corrective options that did not work. Finally he agreed that the “brain “ needed to be replaced. I am still without a new computer or a new system. We purchased the 7240 robot in August 2020 when we had our new pool installed. We live in Wisconsin so to pool was open for 6 weeks after it was completed. Used the robot 6-8 times last year. We opened the pool up this year and put the robot in the water and it moved approximately 18 inches and stopped. We took it back to the place we purchased the pool from and we were told it would need $600.00 in parts to repair or we could buy a new one. This unit was included in our new pool construction package, I love it while it worked but it stopped working after 13 months. The red light keeps blinking 3 times and I have checked all of the associated trouble shooting issues associated with 3 blinks. I called a place locally that repairs them and the person told me water more than likely got into where the power cord connects to the cleaner. I would not recommend this model to anyone.
