We are very pleased with the Pool Cleaner Robot. It does a great job. My only observation is that the cable tangles and it would be great if the cable had other floating bubbles along the cable so this would not happen.

Works okay, ours doesn’t climb the walls very well.

Clean the filter canister, see "Cleaning the Filter Canister" in manual. 2. Sides of pool are slippery or slimy. Although the water seems clear, microscopic algae, invisible to the human eye, are present in the pool. As a result the pool sides become slippery and prevent the cleaner from climbing. Move to this unit form a Dolphin Premier. Similar price point and Premier only last two seasons. This unit requires more passes to clean the pool compared to the Premier. Running the Premier one time gathered almost all the debris. This unit cleans well, but will leave entire areas untouched.

A suggestion that will improve pool coverage is to ensure the cleaner cable is entering the pool at the center of the length of the pool and that only the required amount of cable is allowed into the pool. Essentially, you should only allow enough cable into the pool to cover the furthest point from the cable entry location in the pool. Works fine but debris intake is a bit narrow. Won’t vacuum sweetgum balls from trees.

It does a great job! Only problem for me, is that I can not reach the handle to pull it out of the pool when finished! I reluctantly use the pool brush to lift.
