Great for tetting sand out of pool. Works great for getting filter sand and silt out of pool. The regular bag I had left alot of dirt in the pool. Two days after getting this bag, it was gone.
i thought it would work almost like a vacuum i think i expected too much of it. i thought it would work almost like a vacuum, picking up what i would call silt. it didn't. it did a good job on sand though, and of course leaves etc. if you have a lot of leaves you would want to use the "regular" one, the fine one would fill up and plug up more quickly and would need cleaning too often for me. so if you want to remove what i would call silt, dead algae etc, invest in an auto vacuum or just vacuum it with what you have.
buy new used condition had a small hole in it repaired that and it works ok
Four Stars Works well to catch smaller particles but somehow sand still gets through.
Hmmmm? I don't mind having an extra bag on hand. I think I want to look at this and my regular bags fabric with a magnifying glass to see if there really is a difference. I may have been shipped a regular bag by mistake, to the naked eye they are identical
Polaris Bag This Polaris bag with a tight mesh is very effective in picking up and retaining sand as well as leaves from the pool.
Good bag I really does a great job but I wish it was a little larger. I have to use my larger (not sand and silt) bag first and then switch to this one. Pool is immaculate when it is done!
Does what it suppose to do The OEM bag ripped near the seams after 3+ years, but it's probably my own doing because I usually don't empty it until it's full. So I decided to pick this up to see how well it stacks up against the OEM bag. I'll wait and see how long this will last but so far it does a great job of picking up the fine particles resting on the bottom of the pool. Works great for sand & silt This is the second I've bought. The first lasted just over a year, 8 hrs/day and 365 days/yr. I live way out in the country with loose soil that loves to blow into my pool. These bags REALLY REALLY REALLY do a fantastic job of catching the dust and silt and they're super easy to rinse clean. They fit my Polaris 360 perfectly, too.
