My pool loves these. No issues whatsoever with clogging or anything. Picks up leaves AND all the other stuff you've always wondered about getting off the pool bottom. We have a huge pool and I love these. I have 2 more for backups since they are not available at the store.

Definitely picks up sand, but if you have a gunite pool, that can cause problems We have lots of trees over our pool, and so a cleaner like a Polaris is a must. Our pool is also older (built in the 60s) and the bottom drain hasn't worked since we bought the house. So it's even more important for us to have a solid non-filter cleaning option. High quality replacement bag for Polaris Great for an extra bag and the quality seams higher than the original. Does not really look to be trapping sand from the pool, but is still great to have interchangeable bags. I can pause the sweeper while I switch bags and allow the debris to dry so it comes out more easily.
