it seems to do ok cleaning the bottom of the pool but it only goes up the sides about one foot. I thought it went all the way up.

Hi Carol, We are sorry to hear your cleaner isn’t performing consistently and want to help. We recommend removing the inlet adapter at the bottom of the cleaner to help larger debris pass through. Typically, this helps with any issue.
