Polaris MAXX Suction Pool Cleaner
Im impressed it actually walks up the walls to clean plaster. Its also able to clean my shallow 14 inch water level chair area. All great so far.

So far after a couple weeks, it's working great. Gets up the walls no problem, hasn't stuck anywhere and pulls up debris w/out a problem. So far so good!

I upgraded to this cleaner from a brand Ive had for years. It works very well and my newly remodeled pool look like new still. The only negative is the instructions are confusing. You need to count the rotations on the side wheels not the bottom.

Had my previous Barracuda / Zodiac M8 for over ten years, (lot of R/R internal gears, directional controls, belts etc, to it going). But worked well climbing pool walls. The Polaris Maxx is an upgraded version of the M8 cleaner, with less parts to R/R. Working well since I put on!!

Was easy to set up and follow instructions. While every pool and area of the country are different it would be helpful given the setup as instructed, time the unit should run for a given pool size for reasonable cleaning. I recognize there many more variables but a general estimate would be helpful.

Easy to operate. There are two issues. My return skimmer basket has the return pipe hole on the side not at the bottom. This makes the set up a little tricker with the 45 degree bend. Also the suction line is at such a high pressure that even adjusting the valve so that the crawler operates at the slowest speed it is still too fast for the recommended speed. Hi Ron, We recommend consulting with a pool pro, because you might want a dedicated suction line installed. You should be able to adjust the valve that regulates how much suction the main drain and the skimmer get. Adjust the valve so the main drain gets more suction and less at the skimmer and dial down the RPMs on the pump if it is a variable speed. Please give us a call if you need further assistance. I love my new Polaris MAXX pool cleaner, my pool has never looked better and it sweeps at the same time so it's never felt better either, I'm not a fan of sweeping that is a HUGE BONUS!
