I absolutely love my new Polaris MAXX. I climbs the walls and cleans them perfectly. my pool is 8 feet deep and has a 45 degree drop off to the deep end and it work flawlessly. I highly recommend this product.
I have had pools from 5,000 to 24,000 gallons and cleaners using suction and booster pump operated. The MAXX is in either the number 1 or 2 spot. This cleaner climbs the walls without getting a lot of air in the system and does an excellent job of removing surface algae. So far I have had no problems at all.
A game changer for pool cleaning when used with the Cyclonic Leaf Filter - I have been fighting my pool for 52 years and this is by far the best cleaner I have used - No extra pump required as it is powered on the suction side - When the pool filter is on it is cleaning - I considered the robotic cleaners both corded and battery powered but you can't leave them in the pool and if they malfunction repairs are very expensive
