Easy to operate. There are two issues. My return skimmer basket has the return pipe hole on the side not at the bottom. This makes the set up a little tricker with the 45 degree bend. Also the suction line is at such a high pressure that even adjusting the valve so that the crawler operates at the slowest speed it is still too fast for the recommended speed. Hi Ron, We recommend consulting with a pool pro, because you might want a dedicated suction line installed. You should be able to adjust the valve that regulates how much suction the main drain and the skimmer get. Adjust the valve so the main drain gets more suction and less at the skimmer and dial down the RPMs on the pump if it is a variable speed. Please give us a call if you need further assistance. I love my new Polaris MAXX pool cleaner, my pool has never looked better and it sweeps at the same time so it's never felt better either, I'm not a fan of sweeping that is a HUGE BONUS!

i am still can't use the sweeper properly
