I have owned MX6 model for over seven years with no problems and decided to upgrade to the Maxx which is the MX8 model. I love the fact it has brushes on bottom to keep pool floor clean and is designed not to let debris clog up inside having to take out and clean.

The cleaner is a good product but expensive for what it is. When it works, it works great. The issues I have are: one, the propulsion system sticks once in a while and the cleaner will stop moving. Two it cannot go up my pool's steep walls. I brush down the walls for the cleaner to pick up the debris from the bottom.

Works great! Has made keeping the pool clean a pleasure as it just keeps moving all around the pool doing it’s thing. I no longer have to use a suction device on the end of a long pole.

I’ve tried almost every suction and pressure side pool cleaner on the market over the last 5 years. This is by far the best one. I have not been happy with any others. The ones I did like the pine needles would shut it down. The Polaris MAXX Has no issue with pine needles. It’s surprising that it took this long for a company to make a great all around vacuum for us with non covered outdoor pools. Thank you and it was worth every Penny.
