I visited Leslie's Pool Store in Plano, Texas on August 21, 2023 looking to either repair my Jacuzzi J-D300 once again, or to replace it with another pool cleaning system. The Jacuzzi J-D300 was actually a pretty good device, with one exception: I constantly had to replace the diaphragm (2 to 3 times a year). Another customer in the store at the same time used the Polaris MAXX Suction Cleaner and raved about it. I decided to give it a try, and so far, it has been a great device!!!!

Best pool cleaner I have ever had and this is my 4th different cleaner. I have even had other products from this same company and none work as good as this one. I had a Hayward cleaner that broker 4 times and finally just threw it out to buy this one. Cleans every speck off the floor of the pool and the rotating brushes also do a nice job of cleaning the sides and the tile line. I am so happy with this one and hope it lasts a long time.

Seems to work well with our vsp. The impeller seem to jam on occasion, stopping the vac. Once we figured out the cause easy enough to clear. With our filtration system, 2 skimmers and a separate cleaning port for the vac we have the pump set at 2900 rpm.

It does what it should do. Kind of a pain timing the revolutions, what with it reversing in the middle of a count.
